Here’s how to use it from the first tap to the checkout.
Step 1: Build your shopping list
Before you leave home, open SpesaOK and start your list.
Tap the + button and add each item you need. The app keeps your list clean with an anti-duplicate system — if you try to add the same item twice, SpesaOK will catch it.

Tip: Build your list while you check the fridge and the pantry — not from memory. You’ll forget far less.
Your list is saved automatically. No need to press save, no risk of losing it. When you’re ready to go, your list is waiting.
Step 2: Switch to the cart at the supermarket
Once you’re at the store, switch to the cart view.
As you pick up each item and put it in your physical cart, add it to SpesaOK too:
- Name — what you picked up
- Quantity — how many
- Unit price — what it costs
That’s it. Three fields, a few seconds per item.

SpesaOK works completely offline. No Wi-Fi, no signal, no problem. It works in any supermarket, basement included.
Step 3: Watch your total update in real time
As you add each item, SpesaOK calculates your running total instantly.
You can see at a glance exactly how much is already in your cart. If you’re approaching your budget, you know before you reach the checkout — not after. You can make a conscious decision: put something back, swap it for a cheaper alternative, or confirm you’re still well within budget.

A few things worth knowing
5 languages, 19 currencies. SpesaOK detects your device language and currency automatically. If you’re travelling or shopping abroad, it adapts without any setup.
Dark and Light theme. The app follows your system preference by default, but you can override it with a single tap. Useful if you’re in a bright supermarket and need better contrast.
Your data stays on your device. SpesaOK doesn’t sync to any cloud, doesn’t ask for an account, and doesn’t send anything anywhere. Your shopping lists are yours.
